  1. For the month
    SPY +1.32%
    QQQ +0.13%
    DIA +2.14%
    VNQ +3.05%
    XLE -1.62%
    XLF +3.73%
    XLK -0.42%

AAPL is down 4.15% this month, in the big picture it means very little, market may be waiting on iPhone 8?

  2. VNQ is testing resistance, by the end of this month we will see if it can find a new high, or test a new low.

  3. Tech (XLK) took a hit today, Facebook, Apple, Netflix and Google all sold off today. XLK support is near 55, the month of July will tell us if tech/XLK can maintain previous upward trend.

  5. Today my XLK option is having its best day so far. Tech/FANG has been under a lot of bearish pressure the past few weeks. I'm not getting giddy just yet, the new iPhone has yet to be released. Markets are crazy, the sky is falling one day, and the next all is right with the world.

  6. A quick comment before I go out to enjoy the city (Amsterdam). So far I comfortable holding XLE and XLK, the daily trend is still showing bearish... XLF on the other hand looks very bullish... if I lose half the value of my long put on XLF, I will close it for a loss and move on.

  7. I'm back from vacation, but I will keep this post short... i'm not in day trading/blog mode yet. My "On Watch" list was a dud, I have no regrets, it served its purpose as keeping me in the game for the big short that never happened. My long DIA Call position is doing well, I will have more on that in a later post.
